Christmas
12 Nights of Christmas
December 1st - 12th
A new event starting in 2023, 12 Nights of Christmas is an evening event that will showcase the complex decked out in all its Holiday glory. Complete with holiday lighting, carolers, vendors, activities, a nightly tree lighting ceremony, and more. It's guaranteed to be an unforgettable night. We hope this hallmark event will continue to grow and develop for years to come and become part of everyone's family holiday tradition.
Santas Whistle Stop Tour
December 7th
The magic of the Christmas season comes to the rails as Santa Claus arrives on his Whistle Stop Tour. The event includes crafts, games, train rides and photo opportunities with Jolly Old Saint Nick.
Halloween
Halloween at the Roundhouse
October 19th & 20th
One of our most popular annual events, Halloween at the Roundhouse features crafts, games, train rides, costume and screaming contests, the Rail Yard Mash, a haunted passenger car, and more spooky fun for children and adults alike.

The Night SHIFT
Night Shift Events
The museum takes on whole new dynamic at night. As a tribute to all of the workers who once labored the evening to morning hours to keep the trains running, the Night SHIFT is a chance for guests to experience the site from a different perspective. On scheduled days the museum will have extended evening hours. During this time guests will have the opportunity to tour the site on their own, take part in historical paranormal investigations and classes, and more yet to come.
Rockin' Rods & Rails
JUNE 15th 11am-5pm
What better way to celebrate the iron horses than to have an event showcasing them all together. Different styles and models of motorcycles are welcomed to be put on display and have the chance to be awarded best in Siouxland. In addition to the showcase, other event festivities include live music, food, beverages, vendors, and more.
